I applied for an apartment at Athena North | South. What are the next steps?
Thank you for applying! If you are randomly selected from the lottery log, you will be contacted within 1-8 months of the lottery close date (October 16, 2019) to schedule an interview.
Will I have access to all building amenities?
Absolutely! The Athena has excellent amenities including an outdoor landscaped courtyard, an indoor tenant lounge with kitchenette, fitness center and bicycle storage. All amenities are free of charge for all residents except for a small fee for bicycle storage.
Does applying for affordable housing guarantee you an apartment?
No. Once you apply via Housing Connect, your name is randomly added to the lottery log. Your placement on the log determines if and when you are contacted for a unit.
There are two people in my household and we have a combined salary in the six-figure range. Do we qualify for an affordable housing unit?
You may! Please review the household size and income requirements above to ensure that you fall between the minimum and maximum criterias.
Will I be required to pay utilities?
You will be responsible for paying your electricity, which will include air conditioning. Your heat and cooking gas will be covered.
